Charity Ambassadors
The Charity Ambassadors have been hard at work this term, collecting for Comic Relief, Easter Eggs for the local Children’s wards and raising funds for the school trip to Kenya later this year.
Please help …
We kindly ask parents to donate any suitcases in good condition that they no longer require. We will then fill them with supplies to take to Africa.
We are hoping that through your generosity, we will be able to collect the following:
- 10 x 20-kilo capacity suitcases
- Educational supplies such as pens, pencils, chalk, exercise books, colouring books, storybooks
- Sports equipment such as skipping ropes, tennis balls, bean bags, frisbees (anything small that could be easily packed!)
- Clothes & shoes, any age (new items, please)
- Sanitary products (pads, not tampons)
Please mark any donations FAO Ms Gregory and drop them off at the main office.
A huge thank you to all our parents for their continued support and generosity.

National Online Safety Certified School
Tower College has successfully completed a comprehensive online safety training programme demonstrating its commitment to keeping children and young people safe online.
The school has received a National Online Safety Certified School Accreditation for its whole school community approach to protecting children online.
National Online Safety is a multi-award-winning digital training provider with extensive resources in online safety, developed in line with the Department of Education’s statutory requirements.
Its CPD-accredited courses and educational resources support UK schools in educating the whole school community about online safety– including all senior leaders, teachers, school staff and parents – on how to make the internet safer for children.
James Southworth, the co-founder of National Online Safety, said: “Congratulations to everyone at Tower College on becoming a National Online Safety Certified School. By completing our training programme, the school has shown its strong commitment to implementing an effective whole-school approach to online safety.”
“It can be increasingly difficult for schools and parents to stay ahead of online threats and ensure both children and staff are safeguarded from potentially harmful and inappropriate online material. We arm schools with the knowledge they need to understand online dangers and react in the best way possible to any problems.”
